Pancake Race

£40Local Children’s Charity Home-Start Hertfordshire have teamed up with events’ company and business publication Hertfordshire Business Independent to take on the organisation of the prestigious, annual ‘St Albans’ pancake race’.
The event, previously run very successfully by St Albans District Council, will now be an annual community fundraising event, helping Home-Start to raise vital funds so they can meet the increasing needs of local families struggling to cope with day to day life.
The pancake race has always been a great community event with teams from local business, charities and community groups all taking part; so once again it is time for you to grab your friends/colleagues, sign up and join us for what is set to be an afternoon of flipping (and possibly slightly competitive) fun!
You can compete in EITHER the ‘St Albans Pancake Race’ OR the ‘St Albans Flippin’ Walkers Race’. Alongside the traditional St Albans Pancake Race the St Albans Flippin’ Walkers Race is for teams who enjoy the skill and competition of the Pancake Race without the need for speed!
You need four members to make up a team. The price is £40 per team, FREE for charities. Please contact us at [email protected] to receive your special charity code.
The event starts at 12noon on Tuesday 5th March outside the Museum. Teams are to arrive at 11.30am and report to the Registration Tent.
