Secondary School Supports our Campaign

East Herts

PUPILS at a Hertford Secondary school ditched their uniform for a day to raise money for Home-Start East Herts.

Simon Balle Secondary School has given our 100 Schools for Home-Start campaign a huge boost by raising a staggering £879.61 at its non-uniform day.

Scheme manager Kay Pitt said: “We are overwhelmed at the amount raised by pupils, and want to thank them, as well as parents and teachers, for supporting our charity.

“The money raised will go towards helping local families who are going through a very difficult time in their lives.”

More than 20 schools have so far joined our campaign, which aims to enlist the support of 100 schools across East Herts and Broxbourne to holding  a non-uniform day for us.
